I’m Opal — a Calgary-based professional photographer and videographer with over 15 years of experience capturing the raw beauty of landscapes, portraits, commercial scenes, and travel moments around the world. Born in Bangladesh and raised in Canada, I’ve always carried a deep appreciation for nature, culture, and storytelling through the lens.

My journey began with a formal education in photography at the University of Saskatchewan, where I learned everything from building a camera and developing film to mastering the fundamentals of visual composition. That foundation sparked a lifelong passion that has taken me across six continents — with my camera always in hand.

Over the years, I’ve honed my skills both in the field and behind the scenes, starting as a cinematographer producing documentaries across Alberta and British Columbia. Today, I specialize in landscape photography, drawing inspiration from the Canadian Rockies that I call home, as well as the countless cultures and terrains I’ve explored with my wife and daughter by my side.
